thai trip was awesome.
had a wonderful time there with my juniors and seniors.
we lost 1-2 to a thai sch in soccer.

2.07.87...finally went under 2.10 for 800m..thank god...kinda funny..competition realli brings out the best in you..last 100m couldnt push..sad
i just love it at the stadium..so much fun..made so many new frens..
2km steeple on monday...this might be my last race for VS..kinda sad..moving on..
55.03 for 4by4..we are 3rd qualifier!!
we are in 5th position..terrible..but 3rd is still within reach i guess..

its been another long while..
WINGS meet over...got 2nd for 800m and 3rd for 4by4..
guess what i did 2.11 for 800m again..my 5th consecutive time doing 2.11..
'qake sim' man..that word is a hokkien word btw..i anyhow spell 1..haha..
55s for400m..yayy!!quite happy with that..
DSA DSA DSA..it is supposedly to my advantage but it is giving me a headache now..
on the contrary..i'm wishing now that there was no such thing..
and i dont want the first 3 months!!!!!!!!!!!arghhhh!!!!!!'qi xin'
waste my time in sch only...might as well sleep play soccer and enjoy life..after all life's short..nobody gets out alive anyway(i took this quote from somewhere)..haha

hello..i'm back..
its the eve of chi new year eve..
i just realised i'm ultra outdated..the last movie i watched was national treasure in 2004..didnt catch a single movie this year..-sobs-
i bought my new year clothes already..haha and i got reprimanded for buying a black shirt..
feb is a birthday month man..so many pple birthdays coming up..and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY RONGHUA!u are welcome for the present..and the card..
i hate to say this..but i have to..i guess we are underdogs for this year's B title..
4F class bbq last sat was loads of fun..
ms tham came with her dog..and every1 went goo goo gaga over her dog..took a lift home from mr khoo..nice guy..
i juz did my tuition test today..haiyo sometimes i wonder why are tests so easy..haha kidding la actually i dunno how to do a few qns..
going to mr kelvin ng(tuition teacher) house for a la visiting this sat..
ohh i'm so so sad..arsenal lost the man utd..hiazz..whhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...

its been more than 1 week since i updated..wth i thought i juz updated ytd...
today juz had amaths tuition from 3 to 6.30..
pnc and differentiation..
i've already learnt 3 quarters of differentiation man..no need to pay attention when sch reopens liao..wahaha
after that took the lrt with xiangyun to compasspoint..she went home while i went to check out a watch..
spore beat myanmar 4-3!!!! it was a great match..spore took the lead but myanmar score 2 quick goals in succession.later spore scored another 2 goals while myanmar grabbed a consolation goal in stoppage time..how wonderful..cant wait for the return leg..national stadium!!
oh timetrail tmr..dont think i'll do well anyway..
sat got service den party at haunted house..
sun got amaths and physics tuition den trng..

gosh holidays gotta be over in the blink of an eye...sch's juz ard the corner..wad can i say except time flies?
actually i'm quite glad the year 2004 is ending..
this year hasnt been that great for me actually academically wise and sports wise. shant elaborate on it though becoz whats over is over as the saying goes 'let bygones be bygones' rite?
had my fair share of disappointments and setbacks..more than any other year i can say..
yeah..i realli look forward to the year 2005..
marks a brand new start ,a new beginning to everything!=)
the path of my sec 4 life..wonders how it will go..
first up, O levels nxt year..wow the 'thing' i've been 'waiting' for these 3 years has finally make its presence felt..and i noe everybody dreads it..
haha...4F 2005 we must strive for it!!
XCountry 2005..the fight will be down to the wire man..but WE will be ready...it will be in april though..and that only means 1 thing..more trng...
track and field another thing..at the moment i'm still deciding whether to call it quits after cross country..after all its the certificate that counts...not the trophies or medals rite?
yeah..i will ponder over it i guess..

today was an awesome day..haha becos i played dota today fer the first time..and sad to say..i kill none..wahaha..i'm pathetic in that game man...
and theres something thats often lingering in my mind...homework..done bio, eng and e maths already..left physics, amaths, geog,ss..and not say the hw very little lor..physics 600 plus qns..heard from ronghua..gonna die man..

haha...back from thailand..whee..gosh it was great..
i'll blog abt all that i can rem..MAJOR details..
first day reach chiangmai..great weather..very cooling..
trng in chiangmai stadium..did 20times 200m..
2nd day transferred to a resort..1 room 10 bed side by side..how cool..AND there were fhm models in another resort nearby..wahaha..
did 10km in the pouring rain..
i swear the rain there is like ice..
the nite was so fun..
3rd day left for chiangrai on a 3hrs journey..
did a 12km run to a hot spring..
and on this particular day i bought 8 pairs of socks..dunno what for also..
4th day went to the golden triangle..the border of thailand and myanmar..visted the opium musuem..
i didnt noe catfish could grow till so big..
ohh the golden triangle is the triangle between myanmar thai and laos..it was heavily ridden with opium last time and opium was nicknamed black gold so this is how the term 'golden triangle' came about..
did a 12km run to the edge of thailand..and RONGHUA U"RE GOD NOW!!nobody can even whiff him in all our runs..
nxt day we played soccer!! van 1 against van 4 van 2 against van 3..we lost 2-5..nvm at least i scored 1 goal..think i fell sick this day..
day 6 i forgot everything le..except we did a 10km run..ohh i nosebleeded in the morning..sian..
day 7 was the best day..suppose to gather at 8.30..
me and siliand received a call at 8.45..haha..fined 200bahts..'gigantic' scolding..rushed down..
went to elephant camp..the elephant ride was great..
the return journey by ox cart was awesome too..
ihh the bamboo raft experience was the most MEMORABLE 1..alan fell into the river..wahaha..
the manner in which he fell damn funny..
everybody should have witnessed it..
later me and arvin ganged up to push alan into the river..guess wad..he pulled me down as well..as a result i lost my specs..wahaha..
nxt day did another 12km run..visited the umbrella making factory..
left for spore on day 9..sobsob..so sad..

Letter to Mum

A mother passing by her daughter's bedroom

astonished to see the bed was nicely made

everything was picked up. Then she saw an
envelope propped up prominently on the

With the worst premonition, she opened the
envelope and read the letter with trembling
hands:

Dear Mum,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing
you. I had to elope with my new boyfriend

I wanted to avoid a scene with Dad and you.

I've been finding real passion with John and he

so nice-even with all his piercings, tattoos,

and his motorcycle clothes. But it's not only the

soccer soccer soccer...
interclass soccer on tue..3F emerged 3rd!
hmm i played last man fer every single match..quite sian..but we didnt concede a single goal in the tournament...
we beat 3H 2-0, draw with 3D 0-0, beat 37 2-0, draw 3B 0-0, finished 2nd in the group.
went on to face 3I...lost in penalty shootout..sad..
later faced 3B fer 3rd placing..won them 2-0 thanks to mason and najid..whoo najid blasted a free kick into the net man..not forgetting some good defending from the ever reliable last man!=p
at least our effort wasnt in vain...hip hip hooray 3F!
basketball did a great job too..emerged 3rd as well...
witnessed the power of 3F yet?haha...
today got attire and hair check..
haha..so me and shawn decided to skip morning assembly..not truacy rite?
we were at bedok food court eating breakfast till 8am..
den we happily went sch after eating..we were too scared of going by the front gate that we resorted to climbing the fence behind the sch..
went up to class surprisingly leow haven come..should come stayed longer at bedok..

wow obs over in the blink of an eyes..it was great..
monday went sch ,meet up all the other obs pple from my sch.took a bus to punggol jetty.so near my house i could have went there directly.saw many other schs.northland sec,westwood sec,peicai.queenstown sec to name a few.
reached pulau ubin shortly and we got divided into our watches(so called teams la)
by a twist of fate i got all my good frens in my watch :cousteau.dennis pravind benjamin hann khee!!!!!!!!!=)sometimes its juz so fated.out of more den 10 watches me and dennis still ended up together!!
our instructor was dean 1 of the most senior there.
got to noe my team members in my watch.ain,yvonne,su yuan,zhenai,steffi,mew ee,dennis,daniel,benjamin,hann khee,farhan,katija,pravind,ashraff!!
dunno why our instructor like bonding alot.haha first thing made us huddle together hands ard each other shoulders and had a ice breaking session.lunch ate with our hands tie together with each other.wth so diff to eat.wear harness also must hold each other hands to put on.so troublesome.first day pitch tents quite okay.cooking too but the rice a little hard hor dennis?
first nite me and hann khee cannot slp cos too hot den we ran off to another place to slp.haha.went to some hall and slp on the floor.brrr 1 hr later woke up too cold den went bench to slp.
2nd day dean taught us to canoe lor.and taught us the capsize drill as well.it was a 2 man canoe and me and dennis were in 1 canoe.later dean ask me and dennis to purposely capsize to show the rest how the capsize drill should be done.so we did i end up struggling in the water until dennis shouted can touch seabed.hahahha.i didnt noe so shallow sia.made a fool out of myself.was suppose to canot to nxt campsite but weather took a turn so no choice postpone to tmr.
nxt day woke up early to set off.dennis was the navigator.haha and i was behind him.juz starting out got a canoe capsize cos both girls dunno how to canoe.no choice me and dennis each had to partner 1 girl.wow suay man.we canoed for 8 hrs leh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and i did most of the work cos the girl dunno how to canoe.
now i'm roasted toasted and burnt.halfway thru i cant stand the sun i decided to jump into sea.more cooling.tried to catch some jellyfishes but to no avail.still had to hike after reaching destination.wth.that nite i finally decided to slp in the tent woke up nxt morning tent collapsed.haha some tent pitching skills we got man.den went to do some high element activities.den later trekked back to our old campsite.took us 15mins to trekked back cos we took short cut thru the jungle and we canoe 8 hrs to get there on the 3rd days.wow.
oh on 2nd nite i was talking to yvonne den a girl came to ask me fer my email.haha she's so cute.so funny.
i shall fast foward to last day cos my hands tired of typing.last day everyone exchanged contacts not only within our own watches but with other watches as well.joel gave away his pe shirt to roxanne.haha.she wanted it so much.
oh the girl who asked me fer my email is called karen.got her contact as well.she was from dagama with najid mereith jeremy and afzal.yea everyone was asking each other for contacts.haha.kinda like 1 big family.now i've to delete so many contacts to add pple and to approve of others adding me.bought a pencil case a keychain and a shirt as souveneirs to bring back.last session with my watch dean played us a song while we closed our eyes to recall back our entire 5 days together.ain actually cried while me and dennis pretended to cry.haha. filled in the feedback form too.later dean gave us our certificates for completing the physically challenging 5 days course.everybody hugged each other.sad farewell.upon reaching punggol jetty the vs pple all gathered,did vs cheer and went compasspoint for good food.not half cooked rice.haha.

went to dennis's housewarming party at 5.30.
was 1 of the earliest there.
later on few others came and we went down.
barbeque quite a bit.but didnt realli eat.
brought my tennis racket but didnt play at all.
later got dunk into the pool.as usual.
haha.but this time the pool i can touch the floor.unlike ben's house which was 2.4m.nearly drown.
later lalit,leon,zhao yao,dennis,cheryl,junyu and me went airport have supper at burger king.
me and zhao yao ended up camping overnight at changi airport.haha.
after everybody left.zhao yao abd me went starbucks buy some funny coffee drink.got jelly 1.haha but super sweet.we were talking abt everything under the sun.wait or under the moon perhaps?haha
we had the whole airport to ourselves.
it was super duper cold.brrrrrrr.
haha..so we walked and walked.saw 7-eleven.so happy thought we could buy cup noodles but that stupid shop was at the other side.guess which side?the side where onlt those pple who juz alighted the plane could go.argh whatever.so we ended up eating laksa which wasnt realli to my liking.
decided to go to the viewing mallll to sleep.zhao yao showed me so many card tricks.show me till i stunned lor.
hai dao wo zhen wan bu neng shui.i learnt 4 new card tricks!!!=) anyone out there care to be my first victim??pleeaaassseee.
but zhao yao still the master.leave me completely dumbfounded.
that stupid airport was freezng cold.i swore i could froze there anytime.brrrrrrrrrrr.
den we walk to the fro the entire terminal 2 till our legs turn to jelly.so anyone thinking of staying at changi airport overnight i suggest u bring a bike along..haha
later decided to slp after all..we werent alone.every here and there there's pple slping..wow poor thing.we were both listening to md till zhao yao fall aslp.haha so funny he snored.he had blocked nose.i didnt slp at all was happily listening and staring at the ceiling.den i woke up to practise the card tricks again.haha
woke up at 5.40 went for breakfast at bk again.funny why i wasnt hungry at all.i left the whole large coke there untouched.
later zhao yao took 36 homw while i took 27.
and now i'm home.u can say finally.and i wannnnnnaaa grab soome beauty sleeepp..later got church at 9..argghhh.

finally the weekend is here.
mon was quite an alright day.
tue suppose to have trng but didnt go.
had to visit my grandmother in hospital.
wed i completely forgotten what i did..haha

sun was scorching.
timing definitely not up to standard yet.
fri went to watch face at plaze sing to celebrate ben's birthday.

45TH national inter-secondary schools track & field championships 2004 my tag number:458
its over...wow..its realli over..in the blink of an eye yea?
distictively still can remember myself training so hard for it one month ago...looking forward to it so much..
the memory of me telling myself not to give up after each exhausting interval still remain fresh in my mind..
i would gave myself constant reminders that i was still sec 3...and it was up to me to prove my worth as an underdog..
and now its over..but it has certainly given me one of the best memories of my life..
ponning sch,skipping tests,leaving sch at recess,cheering my guts out for my team mates,playing cards instead of being at sch studying,eating at lot 1,taking bus 307,warming up in the carpark,waiting in the call room,being on the track,finishing first in my heat and so on...haha..it was loads of fun..
i miss those days..haha..
the surprise of running on the final day was the most pleasant surprise..haha..truly a moment to savour as it gave me a medal..hehe..
aaahh and its over...final day was a rocker...seas of yellow cheering,the undaunting spirits of our runners,the only word i can come up with is 'magical'!
the atmosphere totally rock...other schs yelling like mad woman(yea one sch in blue pinafore and another sch in grey skirt and blue shirt,sorry no offence..haha)
wow...its something unforgettable..
the crowning of st nicks double champs..haha..c div won by 4pts..so lucky...
and sports sch not winning any div title!!haha..they sux..
haha...can remember myself walking onto the track for 4by4..told myself to whack till my balls drop..haha..
Victorians u were great!!although we came in 2nd for c div and 3rd for b div this yr..i promise that we will come back stronger and firing at all cylinders in yr 2005!

wow..today was 1 hell of a day...
went sch in the morning..
had 3 periods of A maths followed by 2 periods of Emaths..can die...
worse still fri must present sci project to vjc,sat got chem makeup and exhibition for vj sci fair,mon got Amaths makeup,tue got Emaths makeup,for track and field boys..can faint...
i wentto national stadium during recess cos wanna escape geog..haha..
totally didnt expected to run today..
nearly cried when i was told by mr tan that i had to run..
i was caught unprepared lor...
and my last 400m run was 59secs..wth..can jump down..
was so nervous..shawn helped me calmed down lot..million thanks to him..
okay did 55secs for 400..new pb..but still not fast enough to catch up..
shawn did 51secs and nabil did 52secs..3rd place secured..well done guys..
later went to leisure park to have bk for dinner..

finally decided to update..i was too lazy all the while..
track's over for me i guess...6th in 2km steeplechase and 9th in 800m..not very happy with my performance anyway...
final day 28th july..whole sch's coming down...the VS spirit will be ignited again!!
i'm gonna start training for 400m now...
ohyeah i didn't expected to blow this matter about yf till so big..its outta the world liao..
i still cant believe how i landed myself into this..
i'm amazing myself now..
how come nearly everyone knows it now..the whole of VS track team,sn track team,sports sch pple,acsi pple, chi high pple..and not forgetting ngee ann pple..how did this happen..

15 july 2004..great day...
went to sch early in the morning...raining cats and dogs..
got caught in the rain lor..got all drenched..was so cold..
first period geog..wah so sian..i wasnt realli paying attention..
nxt lession higher chi..got tt stupid book test..i cheated..haha
i left class early cos i was pissed at my chi teacher..
den went to have early recess den left for cck..
reached cck at 1.30 or 2 liddat..was so tired
went to warm up at abt 2.40..
nabil did a 2.06..wow..
i managed a 2.11..finally..i've learnt that i shouldnt take the lead..haha..got first..yayy!
qualified..now i'm in lane 1..not realli that nice i think..haha..

okayyy.lets see.one whole sleepy week for me i guess.
tuesday was a nice day.haha.went home after trng from macritchie.saw dexter on the bus.a nice guy from sji.ran with him before.surprise surprise he stays so near me.he's a sec 4 btw.he running 1500m and 2km steeple to him this yr.best of luck to him!.he got 12th last yr for steeplechase.commendable feat i guess.but he's a nice guy.haha.can consider running with him.he went home first while i went sengkang interchange to buy bus pass.haha.shar juz missed the 83 while i was waiting for it at sengkang bus interchange.haha.we happened to be on the same bus later but fate took a twist?haha.bus was crowded and i alighted early.haha.
wed was certainly the worst day.5 periods of maths early in the morning consecutively!wth.can doze off for maths 1.wed did intervals.i went back to my 12 times 400m.
thurs was completely sian.so i shant bother talking abt it.
today was great.juz because of the fact that we were dismissed at 12.30!dennis lionel cass and me went wheelock for something.shant reveal.haha.later ate at burger king den went back vjc for trng.wow because of the stupid rain i ended up playing with water for trng.haha.i very long never play with water liao.so trng postponed to tmr i guess.at 8.
tmr must wake at 6.30 den go fer trng.den must do project at chook's house.some cme project.actually i dont mind getting 0.i got 0 for chemistry project liao.haha

yesterday was o levels express chi listening compro...
was rather easy..but 1 or 2 questions quite tricky..
haha...zirui u better get full marks for it...so i can get full marks too..
after listening compre thingy went to vjc train..
my 1st trng since last sat..feels good to be back on track.haha
did 6 times 400m at 65s pace..was overwhelmed exhausting to me..
after trng den i went home slpt all the way to this morning..haha

i think our b div this year doesnt haf much hope..
lots of pple either injured pull out or not on form..
argh..my head so painful these few days still must drag myself to sch..

today i was damn pissed..

Nice sat..2more days to sch reopen..wow everybody get ready to get screwed by teachers..
wah...france lost leh...realli cant believe it...france was totally lacking of creativity and ideas against the greeks..
greece were like dominating play from midfield..
france with so much hype over their team which was touted by many the best...were simply a letdown..complete letdown..haiz
i think greece deserve to win..they were more hardworking...and they brought the game to france..instead of sitting back to counter attack..they were the better team..
my mum called me and 6.30 to wake up but i went back to slp
dennis called me and 7.10..i walked 1 round in the house b4 going back to slp..
my dad called me at 7.30..i still went back to slp..
till 8.30 i woke up myself??!like not well done...suppose to start trng at 8.30 lor..wth..
train at 9.15 instead..
ohyeah..now i can use left leg to steeple liao!!!haha..pretty much an achievement to me..
later went cine with dennis to do hw...did only abit den chiong to suntec for that jumping thing which we can win 2 tickets to the opening of spiderman 2..haha..

later stayed at macs in suntec to finish up our hw..i managed to finish my eng essay and did some Amaths..not a bad feat..

today's a wed...went to watch harry potter with dennis at cine..haha i noe we lag...

ok lets talk abt ytd..haha...a beautiful tuesday..
woke at 6.30 must go chem tuition at 8...
i sleepwalked to bathe..
den sleepwalked to pack all my things...
den sleepwalked to the bus stop..
took the bus and slept all the way to sch..
ms sim was juz revising thru the past work while i was meditating...haha..
later went to do tt stupid experiment..
not bad la..i kope 2 packet of copper carbonate..
after tt went cine with dennis and lionel..haha..usual hangout
went there walk walk walk den play lan fer 1 hour...
stupid lionel spilled 1 packet of copper carbonate on the lift..haha..
den lionel went to buy cheesefries while me and dennis went cheers buy drink..

a brand new monday..haha...woke up at 7 in the morning to rush to vjc for steeple trng at 8..i didnt wanted to wake..damn tired..
train with ronghua zongyu and kelvin ching(both from vjc)
trng was quite ok but my technique totally sux..haha..every jump was a water jump to me...haha and i'm supposed to crouch down..
the water jump was fun except no water lah..haha..put gym mattress there so we had to use trainer to do the intervals..
i landed on the gym mat with both leg at the same time leh..completely wrong..
if i do tt for nationals confirm liao liao..big splash!!
after tt interval did 5 sets of bounding..i look weird doing tt..
after tt did sledge run..wah that thing like not heavy..but still relatively easy doing it lah..
later went parkway for luch with dennis den chiong back sch for chem project..
haha..we slacked thru the project..
first we tried to crack the password for the com but to no avail..stupid com i should have spiled it..haha
later went library sleep..
after tt we discuss what to bet for strike at s'pore pools..france vs switzerland...haha..we were thinking of all the possibilities..
0 goal 1 dollar pay 11 dollars leh..haha
den while thinking i managed to cocked up a report to show ms sim at least we have done something..haha
later took 31 with dennis home...tiring day

A fri...*yawns*...
supposed to meet dennis and lionel in sch at 9.30 to play tennis...haha but i woke at 10.30 instead...
hp got quite alot of missed calls..haha chiong to sch..actually didnt chiong..i juz slowly walk..
reached sch juz nice 12pm..haha...sorry dennis sorry lionel.. i was only late by 2 and a half hours..
started off playing with dennis,best of 7 series!
1st set he won 45-40, 2nd set i won 45-40, 3rd set i won 15-45, 4th set i won 45-15, 5th set i also won 40-45..match won 4sets to 1!wheee!:)no sweat..
next up played with lionel...
1st set he won 40-45, 2nd set i won 30-45, 3rd set he won love-45, 4th set i won 30-45, 5th set he won 30-45, 6th set i won 15-45, last set lost 40-45..aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!lost the match 4-3..
rematched with him again...
this time won him 1st set 45-love, won him 2nd set 45-40 ,won 3rd set, lost 4th and 5th set but later won 6th set..so match won 4sets to 1!got my revenge...haha:P
later lionel and dennis went to draw banner while i played with edwin..
played 10sets with him

ok today's a thursday...great day
woke up at 8 to go for physics class at 9.30...
reach there juz in time..like only 15 pple turn up..haha
i think i learned more for this physics remedial more den i did for term 2 under the trainee teacher..haha..
after physics went parkway to buy bubble tea AGAIN..strawberry milk tea?haha...den went gym but ended up playing badminton b4 going..wah i won derrick..haha he gave me 14points first...so starting was 14-love..i won him 15-3 so i no need ta pay him the money i own him..haha..
den later play with ryan pak..he gave me 14 points too..den i got trashed 14-15 by him..s'pore previous number 2 wor..damn pro..nvm later i won dennis 15-14..i gave him 14 points too to start with..haha and i won!gave him alot of drop shots..
after that ryan paired with me to take on derrick and dennis..
losers treat drink and as expected we won...haha..
later wnt to do gymwork...act i went there enjoy aircon only:p
later went back sch to get a lift from mr ho to macritchie...
haha only ran 10km today...after tt went to hide with nabil ronghua zengyi syen yuin and avery..was talking abt his asian juniors..haha...fastest girl 2.01 for 800m??!!thats mad..
tripped during the run..haha nvm quite minor..dont care..
later rushed to jacks place fer dinner!=)

haha...2nd time updating?hahahha...today suppose to meet dennis and lionel at 9 at bedok gym..but i woke at 9 instead..den chiong there..haha...later went to eat lunch at yoshinoya..haha..and also bought bubble tea!ohyar...each-a-cup strawberry milk tea rocks!haha...i went to buy twice...but 2nd time green apple milk tea..haha..den went back sck for dental appointment..wahh dentist is realli bend on killing me...polish my teeth till so hard..i'm considered fortunate there's no holes drilled..haha...we den went library to while away some time...wah freaking sian...later the both of them left and i waited till 4.30 den went for trng at vjc..i act slept in the library holding a book..haha...trng did 4times 400m 3 times 600m..was quite ok la..haha...today nabil's back!!yayy!=) my trng partner's back!haha...he did a 2.01.75 fer 800m wor..*clapclap*haha...today was extremely elated as well...ask me if u wanna noe!haha...kkz thats all guys..
